I’m a full time career mom.
FTCM!
That means I have two full time jobs. A day job and another job before, during and after my day job.
Something that completely surprised me when it first happened. It’s difficult to understand that I wasn’t prepared for it since women all over the world are doing the same thing and have been doing that for ages. But I wasn’t. And I coped with it in my very own way – by running 100 miles an hour and even taking on an extra part time job as an external lecturer in Market Research (the very irrational, but self fulfilling choice that I’ve realized I default to when I’m stressed).
But I mainly coped with it by keeping true to myself.
This blog is all about that – my ‘new’ identity as a mom, but also about me and my identity as … me!
I love being a mom, and I want to share the love, the quirkyness and the rookie mistakes with all of you!
My kids always call for me ‘Mom, Mom, Mommy…!’ Sometimes I ask them if they know my real name. Sometimes they do. Sometimes I’m just Mom, Mommy or even Mama. But I’m always also Me. And that’s what keeping me sane and in love with my life.
Hugs and kisses,
MomMommyMe
